I chose this image because it is interesting to study how the autistic brain functions and its structure. This article covers studies of the autistic brain.  It places emphases on brain research and that this research may hold significant clues to possible causes and treatments for autism.  It mentions the fact that the cause of autism is still a puzzle although many studies point toward possible connection between brain structure and autism (autism.lovetoKnow.com).

"When you have a child with special needs, you learn to live with a lot of stress and you throw yourself into your everyday job as a parent; if you work outside the home, you work even harder - and you don't think much about taking care of yourself" ( www.autism.about.com).

This particular quote came from a parent with autism evidently they have learned to live with the diagnosis.
My spouse and I have a child with autism and can relate to this quote.
